Setting out your life goals and creating a lifetime financial plan can be daunting. Using a qualified independent financial adviser will give you peace of mind.

We believe it’s important to help you consider the bigger picture, looking at where you are in your life today and where you want to get to. We help you shape a financial plan that’s right for you.

We believe we have a refreshingly different approach to working with our clients. Whilst we have a strong technical pedigree to manage even the most complex financial situations, we’re pragmatic and practical in the solutions we recommend. We strive for excellence in everything we do.

How we work with you

We follow an Ascot Lloyd way to providing advice that puts you at the very centre.

Getting to know you is so important. Like any relationship, it’s about building trust.

It’s all about you.

Frequently asked questions

Step 1: Getting to know you

You need to feel comfortable and like your Ascot Lloyd financial adviser straight away. The first meeting is the most important stage as we get to know you.

It involves:

  • A free introductory, no-obligation meeting, talking about and understanding your current situation, life goals and aspirations.
  • Exploring your attitude to risk to ensure any future solutions meet your expectations.
  • Agreeing the service that suits you, whether it’s by phone or face to face.

You may also choose to do this over the telephone.

Step 2: Building your plan

Now it’s time for us to do the hard work.

We will review any existing arrangements you may have to see if they remain suitable for your needs.

Your Ascot Lloyd financial adviser will:

  • Research across the whole of the market and find the most appropriate solutions that will help you reach your financial goals.
  • Explain each of the solutions to you and answer any queries you may have.
  • Set your financial plan into action, once you are happy with it.

Step 3: Staying on track

The key to any sound financial plan is ensuring it performs to your expectations and reflects any changes in your financial situation.

Your financial adviser will schedule review meetings with you, to check your financial plan still meets your objectives and reflects any changes you want to make.

Of course, we’re available to talk at any time in between review meetings if you would like to.

I knew instinctively from the start that Ascot Lloyd were trustworthy and safe.
