We are pleased to announce that the selection process for our Graduate Trainee Programme is now open.
Commencing in October 2020, this exciting opportunity offers graduates the chance to develop and grow within the financial services sector. The scheme is a two-year, structured programme comprised of a series of placements and assignments in key areas of our business. The programme will provide a broad overview and insight into the activities carried out by a financial services company and the regulatory environment in which it operates.
Each Graduate Trainee will have exposure to our senior management team from day one with a dedicated sponsor from the Exec team, as well as a placement mentor for each rotation through the programme. Our in-house learning provision will support each trainee's development.
We are inviting applications from candidates who are passionate about a career in the financial services sector, who strive to be their best and put the client at the heart of everything they do. Suitable candidates will have gained or are on course to gain a minimum 2:1 degree, ideally in a finance or business-related subject, however we will consider candidates from other disciplines. Candidates will be required to demonstrate their ability and attitude to achieve as well as outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Although the training programme is primarily located in the South-East of England, Graduate Trainees will be required to travel UK-Wide and work in any Ascot Lloyd office for a period of up to three months.
In return, Graduate Trainees will have the opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic and progressive financial services company that focuses on the importance of financial planning, not just financial advice. Throughout the programme, we monitor training and develop our trainees via individual learning trackers.
As part of the programme, trainees will receive a generous benefits package. Starting salary will be £25,000 with regular reviews throughout the programme.
