How to invest £10,000

In the final part of the Sunday Times investment series, our head of advice, Jade Connolly suggests three funds that would be suitable for first time investors. Jade reassures first time investors that a hung parliament should not deter anyone from investing for the first time and reinforces the importance of diversification:

“Investing for the first time, especially in your forties, can be daunting, regardless of the political backdrop. An easy way to achieve a diverse portfolio quickly is to invest in a multi-manager or multi asset fund. These offer a range of investments but they can be expensive.”

The three funds evaluated in this article are Investec Diversified Income, Premier Multi-Asset Growth & Income, and Alquity Indian Subcontinent Fund.
