Matt Spain-Warner

Areas of expertise

Matt’s role is to help his clients accomplish the goals, objectives and outcomes that are most important to them. It is important that he understands his client’s bigger picture, values goals and fears.

Therefore, Matt develops a clear plan that covers your goals, how to manage risk, how to structure your investments, how to keep tax to a minimum and how to create a legacy; all with your most important outcomes in mind. He will then regularly review your progress towards meeting your goals and outcomes, and any action that might be required to keep you on track.

Matt Spain-Warner - Ascot Lloyd Independent Financial Adviser

Matt Spain-Warner

Areas of expertise

Matt’s role is to help his clients accomplish the goals, objectives and outcomes that are most important to them. It is important that he understands his client’s bigger picture, values goals and fears.

Matt believes money is a means to an end and not the end itself. It is what the money can do for us or what we can do with the money that ultimately matters. Getting advice on just one area of your finances is dangerous because all areas of personal wealth are interlinked in some way.

Background

Matt has 22 years of experience in financial services which started in 1995 with Friends Provident. Since then he has advised private clients from all walks of life but his main expertise being London based legal professionals.

He recognises that trust has to be earned and works hard to establish long lasting client and family relationships. He firmly believes that face to face client advice is hugely important because remote or telephone based services will almost always be very transactional and focus on client money, rather than the outcomes that are most important to them.
