Chris Slatter

Position:
Financial Advisor
Location:
Wokingham

I started in Financial Services in 1991 as an administration assistant to an adviser within a firm of accountants. I moved to a new employer in 1992 to further my career as an Independent Financial Adviser and I stayed with the same employer until recently. I qualified as an IFA in 1993 and have gained a wealth of experience since then.

I have joined Ascot Lloyd, as I feel the services they offer to their clients are invaluable in the ever changing world of financial services.

I am a member of the Personal Finance Society at Diploma level, which has been achieved by undertaking a series of exams. I am currently studying to become a Chartered Financial Planner, a qualification I hope to achieve by the end of 2012.

Throughout my career as an IFA I have enjoyed the different challenges that each day and each client brings, as everybody has different needs, aims and objectives. I am a firm believer that it is important to build a long term relationship with clients, and this is an aspect of the job I really enjoy.

Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, cooking and spending time with my partner and daughter. I am a keen follower of Oxford United, but don’t get to many games due to my family commitments.
